It never fails to amaze me how helpful fellow internet bloggers are to each other. For example, Adam at ah ok lah is giving reviews of blogs that are wanting his great ideas on how they can improve their blogs. I hope I have a thick enough skin because I would really appreciate a review of my new blog here at My Road.

I love to talk about travel and hope to get more readers who will tell me about places they’ve been. When you visit a new place, it is easy to get caught up in the tourist traps and really never see the city or place for the real value it holds.

We are in Elizabeth City, NC this weekend and because our B & B hosts gave us such great ideas on places to see, we were able to get a real feel for the historical and architectural value of this great place. They also helped us avoid some real traffic jams!
