Allegheny Mountains
Our trip to North Carolina was amazing. The beauty of the Allegheny mountains takes my breath away. We saw many deer along the way. Their tails were flippin’ as they appeared to not have a care in the world. They looked like mountain goats standing on the ledges of the mountains. We saw a sign to watch for bears but we didn’t see any bears.
Five years ago, I drove with the boys from Michigan to Baltimore to visit Chris while he was traveling and working for his job. In Pennsylvania the highway goes under the Allegheny mountains, it’s a tunnel a little over a mile long. The boys thought it was so cool!
