Site for Pet Health Information

Karen | news | Friday, 29 June 2007

I was concerned that Elsie, our Boston Terrier, had flea bites. I wasn’t sure so I started checking on the Internet. I found a wonderful website that was set up specifically for pet owners. Pet Health Wiki has information on pet health. An awesome feature of the site is that it is user editable! Someone might notice that some very valuable information is missing from the site. They can add that information so the rest of us pet lovers can benefit.
The site is very easy to use. I clicked on dog health and there were at least 100 different issues to click on. I clicked on the dog fleas category and checked for the information I needed.

I wasn’t sure if what she had were flea bites so I did some reading. I found out that since she wasn’t scratching or digging at the spot that it probably wasn’t fleas that made the spot red. It gave me some great information on how to keep our dogs from getting fleas. Now I know what to do if they ever do get fleas or any other affliction.

This site is definitely going into my favorites. I think I will contribute my experience with what to do when a dog eats an ant trap. Hopefully, my information will be valuable for someone else.
