July Fourth
How are you celebrating the 4th of July? It is supposed to rain here in Indiana. We usually loaf around most of the day and then watch the fireworks that our town has. A local bank sponsors the fireworks. The fireworks are set off in the park. The parking there is so terrible that I refuse to go to the park to watch. We sit at the depot in town and can see all but the ground displays. Our depot is no longer in service for trains. It has been fixed up and has a gazebo, bricks with sponsors names embedded in the walkways and a small theater inside the depot.

It’s been raining for nearly three weeks now in Texas, so hubby and I are going to spend the 4th indoors at the movie theater. We figure all the fireworks displays are going to get rained out.
