Step 5 to Better Blogging
I am on step 5 as outlined by Marcus in his series on Steps to Better Blogging.
In step five he has given suggestions on how to make your About Me better.
He suggests that you tell a bit about yourself and give enough information to let people really know you.
Here is how he has revamped his about me:

* Rename the page heading from About Me to About (your name) in order to promote yourself. I did this and you can see my new About page
* Included more information about my personal background and talents that permit me to write on the topics covered here with some authority. I did this but need to try to beef it up a little more.
* Provided additional details on why a visitor should feel inclined to stay,
* Linked to various posts and pages that demonstrate the type of content a reader can expect to find on my blog. I have not done this but need to and will link to this series.
* Encouraged the reader to join my RSS feed in an additional location on my blog. I have not done this either so I need to. I plan on encouraging the reader to subscribe in the About Me page (which is called About Marcus Williford) now in case you had not noticed.
Hurrying now because I see that most everyone else is on step 6! Yikes!

I like that last one, about encouraging people to sign up for the RSS feed. I hadn’t even thought of putting that in my About Me.
