Mimi’s Cafe
By now you should get the message that when we travel, we eat. We eat all the time. We look for places to eat. One such place was Mimi’s Cafe in Orlando. My sister is Mimi to her grandchildren and we all know her as that now so we had to saw we had eaten at Mimi’s to let her know if she did a good job of feeding us travelers. We had been to IKEA and we were weary. Mimi’s revived us so much that, much to the dismay of my husband, we hit the mall before going home to Stacy’s house in Jacksonville.
The decor at Mimi’s borders on Cajun to pirate with a touch of New Orleans. There were jazz pictures and figurines everywhere. They have a wide array of entries that include fish, steaks, chops and pasta. They also have chicken and turkey dishes. The food was seasoned well and came out piping hot. Hubby said that his pork chops were the best he’d ever eaten. He meant eaten at a restaurant. He makes yummy chops here at home.
We were too stuffed to try dessert so you will have to check that out on your own.
