The Mystery of Atlantis

Karen | news | Saturday, 01 March 2008

There is a theory about how America is the lost Atlantis. I have been reading about this and it quite interesting. It is believed that when Atlantis Was America, Tampa Was The Royal City.

There is a terrific website at www.atlantis.com where you can find all sorts of information on the subject. It is so interesting to read about how the land masses were thought to be in places that we know so well today. In the following video, you will see many resemblances and how things match up now.

You can find more information in the following press release:
Are you living in Atlantis? According to a new video, America was the Lost Continent of Atlantis and Tampa Florida was once the royal city. Now we know! Tampa’s history goes back over 11,000 years. Dennis Brooks has matched the terrain that Plato described to that found in Tampa Florida and the Americas. See the video.

Camping with Small Children

Karen | attractions | Saturday, 01 March 2008

Someone mentioned, in a comment, that they were planning a camping trip with their new baby. I think this is wonderful. You might want to make it a short trip though. It is tiring watching after a baby in the comfort of your home. There are many dangers to watch for when camping with little ones. I’m not saying that it cannot be done. Just go into the experience with the expectation that it is not going to be the same as when you were not responsible for a little one.

Don’t go camping with the idea of keeping your child clean. Let them enjoy picking up sticks and rocks. Let them learn to draw in the dirt. Just don’t let them play in the campfire. Be extra careful with where you lay things like hot dog roasters and frying pans. Don’t lay them on the ground where they will be walked on. Don’t leave hot pans near the edge of the picnic table.

We go camping to have fun and relax. You cannot relax your constant attention to your child while camping.
