Crazy in Ft. Myers

Karen | travel | Tuesday, 01 April 2008

The schools in our area are out for spring break. I know of several people who have headed south for vacation. We had a great time in Ft. Myers, Florida when we celebrated spring break. Stacy was almost five and she loved playing the ocean. A strange thing happened that vacation when a young mother asked me to watch her daughter while she ran into her hotel room to retrieve something. I reluctantly said ok. I did not know this woman and I was not comfortable with this request. Off she went and she didn’t come back for the longest time. I was scared and not happy when she finally returned. We didn’t let that ruin our vacation though and we put that incident behind us.

We love a vacation where we can have a leisurely day of walking on the beach and reading a good book. We have enjoyed educational type vacations where we visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art but this was one of those times when we needed to give our brains a rest.

There is so much to see in Ft. Myers and it is helpful to let Trusted Tours & Attractions be your guide. They have so many family vacation ideas. When we get back to Ft. Myers, I want to check out all four ecosystems that make up the ‘glades: Sawgrass Prairie, Mangrove Estuary, Cypress Swamps and the Savannah.

It is so simple to receive valuable information from Trusted Tours & Attractions for your next trip. For a short time, when you sign up for their newsletter you have a chance of winning an IPOD Nano!
