Gone Fishing
Well, my hubby is on cloud nine. He just left in his truck and he was pulling his fishing boat behind him. He loves to fish for Bluegill in southern Indiana. This time though, he is going to try his luck at fishing for crappie.
Coal mining in 1870 turned Linton into a boomtown. Linton is nestled among hundreds of lakes with the Greene-Sullivan State Forest at the edge of Linton. Boating, fishing, hunting, camping, archery and hiking are all very popular. Just north of Linton is the ever-popular Shakamak State Park.

I look forward to this time of year for fishing, too. We go for crappie and walleye in Minnesota, which is about the only reason why I let my husband talk me into spending my anniversary with my in-laws every July.
