Since I got mine I've relied on it to get me places that were often difficult to get to with directions because of weird three-way intersections and one-way streets. It's also saved my butt when I've gotten lost. Of course, they aren't perfect and sometimes use strange routes, so if I was going on a long trip I would probably have a backup on hand.
