That would be such a delight to see the top of the Grand Canyon on a helicopter! Although I have a trauma for heights, I would definitely conquer it just to have a peek of the best magnificent wonders of the world.

It´s definately somewhere I would like to visit, although I had sort of forgotten about it until I read your post.. I don´t think it is as popular as it used to be. I don´t know if I could do the helicopter ride……… Can you ride on horseback through part of it? That might be fun!!

I have only even seen to the Grand Canyon by bus the last time I was in the US (Las Vegas) I was going to take the helicopter flight but unfortunately the casino’s spoiled it for me.

I barely left Vegas with the clothes I arrived in, skinned alive.

I had the great experience of taking a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon and it was one of the most spectacular events of my life, it is absolutely awesome, do not miss out on it. The helicopter has a glass bottom and it is wonderfull when you fly over the edge of the cliff and fall away into the valley, can't describe the feeling! frostygirls last blog post..PLEASE HELP KAI!

I agree, I think I would be so in awe of being in the air that I wouldn’t be able to take it all in. A jeep ride would be terrific. The mule rides can be for someone else. LOL

I hope one day to see the Grand Canyon. My inlaws live in Utah and we’re planning on a visit there in the next two years, after my daughter’s wedding LOL.

I was able to view the Grand Canyon from the sky a decade ago and it was an awesome experience. But for me, it is equally exciting with the Grand Canyon tour via jeep or hummer because setting your feet to its ground is priceless. Anderss last blog post..Blaavand, Denmark

That is one place I've yet to see. I've heard of donkey rides down along the edge to the Snake River, don't think I would want to do that.
